Ronni is a new artist at the studio! We love her presence, colorful art and loving energy.

What inspires your art?

You!! And every other person that has walked through your door that I have been met. Before I came to your studio I had never painted anything. This is all new to me. I am a biologist, and my vocation was public health. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever be interested in art. I only volunteered in order to help others who are disabled like I once was. But the blessings I received far outnumber the little I have been able to offer.

How do you feel when you are creating?

Relaxed. Joyful. Happy. I never dreamed I could create anything let alone feel this happy while doing so.

Favorite way to make art?

I like to paint with acrylics or watercolor. But I’ve only just begun! Now that I have been exposed to your lovely artists, And various modes of creating, I may want to try new modalities.

Favorite color?

My favorite color varies, but this week it is magenta! 

What would you say to anyone who wants to start making art?

The exact same thing you and Randi said to me the day I walked through your door and said “I would like to volunteer but I’m not an artist”. You said, “Everyone is an artist!” I thought you were just trying to be nice, but it is so so true! Everyone has their own style and beauty and I am inspired by each person, no matter what their form of art.

What do you do with your completed pieces?

I give them away! Is it amazing to me How many people have told me they are blessed by my art. And it is a joy to give blessings to other people!

What will you create next?

I want to create things of beauty and full of extraordinary color! Because this gives me great pleasure, and it seems to bring pleasure to others.
